2021 Tobacconomics Highlights

In 2021, our team released the 2nd edition of the Tobacconomics Cigarette Tax Scorecard. In this edition, we assessed cigarette tax policies in 160 countries using new data from the World Health Organization’s biennial Report on the Global Tobacco Epidemic.

The Scorecard can be found here in English, Spanish, and Bahasa Indonesian.

Country-specific policy briefs on Indonesia, Morocco, and Tunisia are available, with more to come.

In 2021, we also launched our LinkedIn and continue to use our Twitter to share relevant findings. Be sure to connect with us to stay up-to-date!
