Mr. Fernando Masi is the founder and Senior Researcher of Centro de Análisis y Difusión de la Economía Paraguaya (CADEP). Previously, he worked as a Lead Adviser of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay and as a Lead Adviser of the Ministry of Finance of Paraguay. Fernando was also a Fellow Researcher at the Economic Commission of Latin America and The Caribbean (ECLAC). He was a Fulbright Visiting Fellow at the University of Miami in 2001. His work on the Paraguayan economy, trade and integration process, and international relations has been published more than 70 times in academic papers, articles, and books.
Fernando received his BA in sociology from the Catholic University of Asuncion (Paraguay) and his MA in international relations from Johns Hopkins University (USA).
